Joint Economic Mission between Belgium and Vietnam11/11/2019

On November 6, Brussels hosted a Joint Economic Mission between Belgium and Vietnam. The 12-man strong Vietnamese delegation was headed by H.EC VU DAI THANG, vice-Minister of Planning and Investment. On November 7, the AWEX organised a visit of some economic and historic landmarks of Wallonia. Liège was the first stop of the road trip, with a visit and ensuing lunch at John Cockerill company, a leading provider of technologies in environment, water treatment, energy and metallurgy. The delegation then visited the Lion’s Mound in Waterloo, a major historic must-see in Belgium, before finally ending the journey with a visit of Univercells, a fast growing biotech company that provides advanced technologies in the production of vaccines.
